Is this instant coffee or like other "concentrates?"
No – and we take that personally 😉 Instant coffee is most often spray-dried commercial-grade coffee and tastes like it. Most concentrates are brewed weak, then reduced down and heat treated – which destroys the flavor and leaves you with flat, stale coffee. Jot is ultra-concentrated cold brew made from specialty-grade beans, fresh-brewed at 20x strength. It's real coffee maximized for smoothness, flavor, convenience, and versatility.
How many cups does one bottle make?
Each bottle makes about 14 cups – and we mean real cups, not the watered-down servings some concentrates call a "cup." One tablespoon of Jot delivers a bold, full-strength coffee with 150mg of caffeine. At roughly $1.40 per cup, that's less than a quarter of what you'd pay at a café.
What if I don't like it?
At Jot, we stand behind the quality of our products, and as such want to ensure you love your coffee. If you're not completely satisfied with your first order, we’re here to help. To be eligible for a refund you must contact us within 30 days of your first purchase to receive return instructions. All items in your welcome bundle must be returned in full (including Fellow Mug, Iced Coffee Glasses, etc) unopened, unused, and in their original condition for a full refund.
How does the subscription work? Can I cancel any time?

What sort of sorcery is this? What's in the concentrate?
Jot is fresh-brewed with just speciality-grade coffee and water. We then add a very small amount of agaricus extract (a mushroom that helps with freshness). Our flavored coffees contain natural flavors, but all of our black coffees are just pure coffee. All of our concentrates contain only 10 calories per serving, and no sugar. Clean and simple – the way coffee should be.
Can I make it hot or iced?
Both. Simply add hot water for a hot cup, cold water or milk for iced. Change things up depending on the weather, season, or your partner's preferences (if you're into sharing). Jot works however you want it – that's the point. Some people even add it to smoothies, yogurt, over ice cream, to an espresso martini...you get the point! The possibilities are endless.
