The beauty of spring is how it’s both summer and winter, but also neither summer nor winter, all at the same time. You just can’t quite pin it down; every spring day holds some new surprise.
That little bit of magic inspired us when we were putting together our Spring Menu. We wanted to create a drink that had that same kind of mysterious in-between quality.
And I’m pretty sure we nailed it.
How to make an Iced Dirty Chai with Ultra Coffee concentrate
To capture both the warmth and the chill of spring, we invented the Jot Iced Dirty Chai. It has all the cozy vibes of chai spice – like cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger – and the special golden sweetness of honey. But we’ve combined it with the invigorating boost of a tablespoon of Jot coffee concentrate and put the whole thing over ice.
Once you try it, you’ll understand why it’s the perfect way to come out of hibernation. Here's how to make your next go-to spring drink:
Jot Iced Dirty Chai
- 6 oz of strong steeped chai tea (2 tea bags)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Jot coffee concentrate
- 1 cup ice
- 2 oz half-and-half
Steep tea, add honey to the warm tea and mix until it dissolves, then let the sweetened tea cool. Fill a glass with ice, and pour the tea mixture over ice. Add your Ultra Coffee concentrate and half-and-half. Enjoy!
