We’re giving this summer’s official cocktail, the espresso martini, an Ultra upgrade.

It’s the perfect drink for a rollercoaster year: a pick-me-up that also takes the edge off. And, by using Ultra Coffee concentrate in place of espresso, the Jot Ultra Martini is the quickest, easiest, and best-tasting way to make the perfect coffee martini at home.

We’d give you a hard sell ourselves, but we couldn’t put it better than The Infatuation did when they said: “Espresso Martinis are...kind of like vodka Red Bulls that you don’t have to feel ashamed to order.... For a shortcut, try Jot.”

Here’s how to upgrade the best espresso martini recipe by using Jot liquid coffee concentrate in place of espresso:

Jot Ultra Coffee Martini

  • 1 tbsp Jot Ultra Coffee concentrate
  • 3 1/2 tbsp vodka
  • 1 tbsp coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa)
  • 1/2 tbsp simple syrup
  • Ice
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Chilled martini glass

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker along with 6–8 ice cubes. Shake very, very well for 30 seconds or so. Strain into a chilled martini glass (pour quickly to get a thick layer of crema foam).

Salud. (Sorry, kids, you must be 21+ to consume.)
